Hand Dyed Silk Velvet

I just finished dyeing these two pieces of silk velvet.  I will probably use them on the bottom of my denim jackets.

French Fragments Vest

Finished this vest today. I am doing a trunk show to benefit the Oregon Children's Choir in October in Lake Oswego, Oregon. All the vests will be different with images taken from my collection of antique French postcards. Hand dyed silk velvet ruffle around the bottom.

Arbor is complete! Now I just have to wait until it's covered with vines.

Woke up to this view every morning for 10 days! We stayed at La Madone in Apt France for 10 days. What a beautiful place.

Arbor

Almost done with the arbor that goes over the trailer! I'm loving it!! I'm thinking about painting the whole trailer the taupe color that I painted the trim. I would still do red accents.

Old Suitcase to the Rescue

The electrical box in the trailer was ugly. I had an old (small) suitcase that I painted and decorated. Covered the handle with leopard printed silk velvet. Cut the back out to fit over the panel. You would never know it's there. To get to the panel all you have to do is open the suitcase.

Interior Walls Complete - Moving In!!

I have started putting things into the trailer. The upholstered wall had all kinds of wires on it. Upholstering it covered all of that up. I'm going to get a mattress for the antique baby bed. I will make a long dust ruffle for it and lots of pillows. Should be a comfy place to read or do some art projects. Lots more stuff to go into it. I'll be posting more pictures soon.
